2014 The forming of the art cluster of Siromyatnichskaya Sloboda district in Moscow.
Yulia Nemova is an artist and director born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and based in Moscow. Working at the intersection of speculative architecture, contemporary art, and XR technologies, she explores the hidden potentials of space and its invisible dimensions.
Her practice investigates space not as a static structure, but as a living organism that responds to context, memory, and presence. Through site-specific installations, VR experiences, performance, and mixed media, Yulia creates conditions for rethinking spatial relationships and offers viewers experiences of active bodily interaction with transformed environments.
Yulia holds degrees in architecture from the Moscow Architectural Institute (2013, 2015) and worked as an architect in Moscow and Paris before transitioning to contemporary art. She is currently completing her master's in Contemporary Art Practices at the HSE School of Design and Arts. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at galleries in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and London, and she has participated in residencies such as Winzavod Open Studios, Workhouse Assembly (Ireland), and International XR residency Digital Autumn.

Юлия Немова — художник и режиссер, родилась и выросла в Ташкенте, Узбекистан, живет в Москве. Юлия работает в области спекулятивной архитектуры и дизайна и технологий XR. Окончила Московский архитектурный институт в 2013 году со степенью бакалавра архитектуры реконструкции и реставрации, а в 2015 году — со степенью специалиста по теории архитектуры. Во время учебы и после окончания университета работала архитектором в Москве и Париже. Юлия выставляла и представляла свои работы в галереях Москвы, Санкт-Петербурга и Лондона, а также в локальных и международных резиденциях, таких как Winzavod Open Studios в Москве, Workhouse Assembly в Ирландии, International XR residency Digital Autum (Less Me[1]dia Group). В настоящее время Юлия учится в магистратуре по направлению «Практики современного искусства» в Школе дизайна и искусств НИУ ВШЭ
